Set on an Antiqued Pewter Silver Oval Multi Ring Chain, the Beautiful and Rare Charms on this Necklace provide a visual feast!
In the centre is a Wonderful Royal Heraldic Pewter Lion with Crown Coin Medallion. On one side a fabulous Vintage Cameo from the 1950’s in French Jet of an Ancient Warrior. The Other side is a beautiful Silver Good Luck Ball Amulet Charm from an Antique Brazillian “Balanganda”Brooch.
The Afro-Brazililian amulet known as the “Penca de Balangandon traces its routes back to the 17th Century. Worn by Women of African descent it adorned the thick chain belts that hung on their waists. When not in use it was hung in the house near the door. Each one is unique. The charms on this brooch would impart good fortune, happiness, prosperity and good health.
